We are proud to announce the European Retriever Championship 2025, which will be held in Belgium on December 3rd & 4th 2025.
We are very grateful to our hosts and their keepers for allowing us access to their estates for two days of trialing, 30 minutes south of Brussels.
This has been a great collaboration between two clubs: the Belgian Labrador Retriever Club vzw and Hasseltse Hondenschool vzw, who have joined forces to successfully organise this event.

Each FCI country may delegate its 2 best dogs and one reserve.
Registration will open at the beginning of October.
The closing date for entries is November 11th, 2025 at midnight.

There is no need to book rooms individually, we have pre-reserved plenty of rooms in an agreement with the hotel.
The hotel offers large parking and space for walking the dogs. We are currently discussing the possibility of reserved parking for competitors. More information will follow.
Dogs are allowed in the rooms.
Partners or travel companions are welcome at the hotel. All rooms have a double bed. Additional rooms and dinner/reception packages can be booked at reduced rates.
During the opening reception on Tuesday, drinks and appetizers will be offered. Please arrange your own dinner for Tuesday evening, reservations at the hotel restaurant can be made until 21:30.

Spectators
Please note that no spectators will be allowed under any circumstances.
We must remain respectful and grateful to our hosts, who have requested to keep the number of people on the estate to an absolute minimum.
Good to know
The first and second days will take place on different estates, both located just 15-20 minutes from the hotel.
Transport logistics have been arranged. Travel to the grounds will be in convoy, departing from the hotel.
No location details will be shared beforehand; more information will be provided at the reception on Tuesday evening.
